Director of Portfolio Management, Sustainable Infrastructure
About Equilibrium
Equilibrium is a sustainability-driven private equity firm with a focus on investment portfolios for institutional investors and has built pioneering institutional portfolios in the areas of controlled environment agriculture and carbon transition infrastructure. Over the coming years, Equilibrium will be preparing key parts of the portfolios for exits on behalf of investors.
We are looking to add a Director of Portfolio Management to our team to help execute this focus on returning capital. This position will help drive and oversee a period of value maximization and value realization. This role offers an opportunity to lead asset management work, working directly with our assets, joint venture partners, and LPs, and will be involved in all aspects of portfolio management, fund administration, and, ultimately, strategic exit processes.
This position is high-visibility both within and without our organization, and will provide executive-level interactions across a diverse portfolio spanning, among others, a private REIT with leased $100 million greenhouses, executive-level board positions with an AU$1B produce company in Australia, a joint venture in Mexico, and an operating biogas partnership in the U.S. Midwest.
More About Equilibrium’s Sustainable Infrastructure Team
Equilibrium’s Sustainable Infrastructure Team manages Equilibrium’s proprietary funds and assets in Controlled Environment Foods (“CEF”) and Carbon Transition Infrastructure (“CTI”).
The CEF strategy is comprised of Controlled Environment Foods Fund I & II (CEFF I/II), which are closed-end funds with LP commitments of nearly $1.4B that have focused on controlled environment agriculture and foods investments across North America, Europe, and Australia.
The CTI strategy comprises two portfolios in biogas and waste-to-energy portfolios.
